Yes...Rowan Gant Investigations Merchandise...Why? Marketing.

 

The honest truth is that It all started because I created some items for myself and friends to wear around town and at various events. Why? Again, "Marketing"...Shameless self-promotion is how you get the word out about your work, and walking billboards are very good for doing just that.

 

Besides, the designs are pretty cool.

 

Anyway, many folks have seen the t-shirts and asked how they could get one for themselves. Since I was only doing this on a limited basis (I'm an author not a t-shirt guy), and contrary to popular belief I'm not made of money, the Cafepress site was born.

 

Now, before you accuse me of being greedy, yes the items are marked up— a whole $3.00... count 'em, three. I realize Cafepress prices are a bit high because of the on-demand technology they are using and I am not out to gouge anyone. I tried doing this with a local t-shirt printer and you have to buy in bulk, soooo, I ended up with a ton of t-shirts. My best option, so that I don't have to stock clothing here in my basement is to go the route of Cafepress.

 

Another question I've been asked is if there are action figures in the future. Well, not really... I mean, they actually do exist, but they are one of a kind and they belong to me.

 

Finally, I'm sure that someone out there is going to send me an email telling me that I have "sold out." Well, that simply isn't true. There are plenty of t-shirts, coffee mugs, and other sundries to be had.
